Position Overview

Daily rounding, 4-6 hours, with real-time case by case coordination with a supervising telemedicine physician.

Essential Job Functions

Complete bedside daily physical exam of hospitalized patients, documentation of care in the EMR as well as coordination of care with real-time supervising telemedicine hospitalist provider.

Other Job Functions

  • Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required.
  • Monthly face to face chart review and care discussion with Supervising Provider.
  • Procedural skills to include CVC placement, intubation, abg preferred but not required.
  • Night time Backup Call for urgent bedside care issues.


Basic Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of adult (>16) inpatient hospital care experience required. 
  • An applicant for licensure as a physician assistant must have the following qualifications: 
  • Be a citizen of the United States or be lawfully entitled to remain and work in the United States.
  • Be able to communicate adequately orally and in writing in the English language.
  • Have attended and completed a course of training in residence approved by one of the following entities affiliated with the American Medical Association:

The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or its successor organization; The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or its successor organization; or The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant or its successor organization.

  • Be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or its successor organization.
  • Possess a high school diploma, general equivalency diploma or postsecondary degree.
  • Licensure as a PA in the State of Nevada.
  •  An applicant Advanced Nurse Practitioner must have the following qualifications:
  • A master's or doctoral level education. An advanced practice program requires at least one (1) year training, with clinical experience. The program may be accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency such as the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing; it may also be accepted based on approval by the nursing board in its own jurisdiction.
  • The program requirements must include multiple courses related to role and population focus.
  • Advanced practice nurses are required to hold certification through the American Board of Nursing Specialties and the National Commission for Certifying Agencies of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. Both accredit nursing certification agencies. An APRN will not be certified directly by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies but may be certified by an accredited certifying agency.
  • Licensure as an APRN in Nevada.
